Supply unit ZG200 B2

The compact feeder ZG200 B2 is designed to supply materials such as wires, hoses, strips, ribbon cables, etc., to machines for cutting, insulation stripping, and drilling.

Battery-powered supply unit ZG200 B2SP

The ZG200 B2SP is based on the ZG200 B2S supply unit and therefore features the same powerful servo drive. This unit achieves unwinding speeds up to 2.7 m/s, works in conjunction with insulation stripping technology, and is designed to supply material for this process.

Supply unit ZG400 B2

In addition to the ZG200 B2 production group, the feeder ZG400 B2 has been developed for larger formats of materials (cables, wires, hoses, etc.) with reel weights up to 300 kg. With the ZG400 B2, materials can be smoothly fed into downstream cutting or insulation stripping processes. The material is transported using two synchronized, coated timing belts.

Battery-powered supply unit ZG400 B2SP

The ZG400 B2SP is based on the ZG400 feeder unit and is used to supply ropes, cables, and cords delivered on larger reels weighing up to 300 kg.

Dynamic pulling device AZ400 is designed for operation, for example, in line production and is driven by external guidance. Integrated servo drives ensure a constant feed process, crucial for achieving the highest quality final product. Feeding belts are available in various grades to suit different applications.

Speed controller DHS1000 D

The unit DHS1000 D is used as a speed controller for material loading, operating by non-contact detection of material sag, providing setpoints to connected machines based on material position. For adjustment control, 5 light barriers are installed, applicable in position and direction according to the specific application requirements.

The 3-position controller DPR1000 C

With the 3-position controller DPR1000 C, Ulmer provides precise speed control for machines like those in the SM15 series or WSM30/WSM60 series. Using three laser barriers, it detects the material position in the process, allowing the connected cutting machine to stop or resume processing accordingly. This enables seamless integration into extrusion processes.

Battery cable accumulator KSP8000

The cable accumulator KSP8000 can be used as a speed regulator, for instance, in coil unwinders from the SAR series (e.g., SAR800, SAR1000, SAR1250). By utilizing all available load carriers, the unit can store approximately 8 meters of material. The movable lower carrier unit is pneumatically supported and can be supplied with air or evacuated via a pressure regulator.

Linear cable accumulator LSP5000

For speed regulation of coil unwinders from the SAR series (e.g., SAR 800, SAR 1000, SAR 1250), the linear cable accumulator LSP5000 is the ideal solution. Its compact design allows for optimized positioning between SAR devices and processing machinery.

Hose cutting machine
SSM60 Touch

The hose cutting machine SSM60 T is suitable for cutting closed and split corrugated tubes, PVC, rubber hoses, as well as other types of hoses with an outer diameter up to 60 mm. It utilizes guillotine cutting (the blade is fixed at a 45° angle), ensuring precise cutting angles and high cutting quality.

The ribbed hose cutting machine WSM60 E Touch

Ribbed hoses are utilized across various industries, primarily for protecting and bundling electrical cables, and also as conduits themselves. A common requirement when cutting ribbed hoses to a specific length is achieving a precise cut at the top of the wave to protect the enclosed cables. The WSM60 E Touch from the WSM series is designed to cut ribbed hoses ranging from 5 mm (NW3) to 60 mm (NW50) in outer diameter, excluding the top wave.

Hose cutting machine SK300 / SK400

Developed as a standalone unit with dual-hand control, the SK cutting unit is specifically designed for processing heat-shrink tubing up to 300 mm wide (SK300) or 400 mm wide (SK400), with a maximum wall thickness of 1.5 mm. The cutting head features a primarily flat surface with a measuring scale and a manually adjustable stop on the left side. Additionally, the SK300 / SK400 is equipped with a pneumatic pressure holder and a pneumatic cylinder with a cutting blade.

The ribbed hose cutting machine WSM30 E Touch

The ribbed hose cutting machine WSM30 E Touch is suitable for cutting unsplit ribbed hoses with an outer diameter ranging from 5 mm (NW 3) to 32 mm (NW 26). Cutting is performed in a rotational mode, where the blades continuously rotate around the product to precisely cut the material at the specified length position on top of the ribs.

The cutting machine SM15 2PT enables users to store product data and offers convenient and secure reproduction of items. Its wide range of options allows for universal application across various fields. It can process medical products as well as items for the automotive sector. Additionally, special applications can also be accommodated.

The cutting machine SG400

The SG400 and SG400 V blades are specifically designed to meet the cutting demands of large-format cables or cross-sections. Due to their power, they can cut dimensionally stable hoses up to an outer diameter of 30 mm and cables up to a cross-sectional area of 200 mm² (copper wires in SG400 V). Material is fed using two belts, whose coatings can be selected specifically for the product to ensure reliable frictional contact for precise positioning.

The SG400 and SG400 V blades are specially designed for cutting large-format cables or cross-sections. Their power allows them to cut dimensionally stable hoses up to an outer diameter of 30 mm and cables up to a cross-sectional area of 200 mm² (copper wires in SG400 V). Material feeding is facilitated by two belts with coatings that can be specifically chosen for the product to ensure reliable frictional contact for precise positioning.

Rotary cutting machine SMM40

The rotary cutting machine SMM40 is designed for cutting materials such as plastic, rubber, heat-shrink tubing, and similar materials in extrusion processes. To evenly distribute pressure force across the material, the SMM40 is equipped with an especially long pull device. The belt gap is adjusted mechanically using a manual wheel. When processed using a motor-driven flying knife cutter that provides continuous pulling, the SMM40 can cut short lengths at high extrusion speeds.

Conveyor belts

The conveyor belt ABB2000

The conveyor belt ABB2000 is used for smooth removal of cut materials. After cutting, the cut material is conveyed either by a uniform airflow or through a sorting gate into a collecting vessel made of VA material, using blowers over a 100 mm wide and 2200 mm long conveyor belt. Of course, the conveyor belt can be manufactured in other lengths as per customer requirements.

Delivery belt AL1500 – 15000

The delivery belt from the AL series operates within the process as an electropneumatic delivery system, for instance, in line with cutting machines from the SM15 series or insulation stripping machines. Using the conveyor belt, processed items are transported to the delivery tunnel. When they reach the end of the material, the conveyor belt automatically stops, and the items are directly deposited into a collection container. The open exit section of the AL series delivery container allows for the delivery of items longer than the total length of the container.

Unwinders and winders

Double cable reel DTW400

The motorized and fully synchronized cable reel DTW400 is designed for integration into production lines with cutting and insulation stripping machines. DTW400 is suitable for winding flexible cables onto two interchangeable spools, with easy adjustment of winding diameter.

Cable winder KUG300

The cable winder KUG300 allows for fast and easy winding of various materials such as cables or hoses up to a diameter of 10 mm onto different reels. A quick cone clamping system facilitates rapid reel changes, even with different cores and dimensions. The machine is controlled by a simple PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and the mechanical winding can be adjusted manually. With a core diameter of 100 mm, the maximum winding speed is 110 m/min.

Rotary disc DT1600 AUF

The rotary disc DT1600 AB is specifically designed for winding corrugated tubes packaged in large units or long lengths. It can accommodate octabins containing corrugated tubes, for example. The corrugated tube is guided to the unloading point using guides and then fed to the connected cutting machine. Speed is controlled using a dancer arm positioned on the material.

Bases

The bases for power units ZG15 S and ZG200 B2 or cutting machines from the SM15 and SM30 series are made of sturdy steel plates with vertically mounted aluminum profiles and a cover featuring corresponding perforated patterns for leveling the legs of the power units or machines.

Tables

Ulmer’s product range also includes a variety of bases and tables. Machine tables are available in lengths of 1000 mm, 1500 mm, 2000 mm, and 2500 mm. With a depth of 600 mm and an additional shelf, accessories or additional machines can be accommodated. The tables are made of aluminum profiles and can be expanded as needed.
